Individualized. Honest. The way medicine should be.

Dr. Seier focuses on quality naturopathic family medicine and works to identify and remove the cause of illness while promoting disease prevention. He believes in individualized medicine that is catered to a patient, specifically for that patient. Careful listening to your concerns and investigation into options brings the wisdom of naturopathic medicine to aid in your recovery.

Dr. Seier takes into account the whole person and creates a plan that not only addresses your chief complaint, but also works to raise your overall level of health.

As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Seier focuses on treating and supporting health - because when you treat health, you do not leave room for disease to exist. This is why naturopathic medicine is so important for preventing and treating chronic disease and promoting healthy aging.

Dr. Seier is in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia and holds board certification in chelation, prescriptive authority and acupuncture. Dr. Seier is member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. Seier declares no conflicts of interest with diagnostic labs or natural health products.

He is not employed and has not been employed in the past with companies he deals with for diagnostic labs or natural health products. He holds no ownership in any health-related company he makes use of. If making recommendations for establishing health and treating disease would be the same that he would make for his own family - then yes, Dr. Seier may have a conflict of interest that is also his best interest.

Dr. Taylor Seier arrived in beautiful British Columbia by way of completing his graduate medical studies at the Boucher Institute for Naturopathic Medicine. The first two years of his graduate studies were completed at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. The transfer to a Canadian naturopathic school was due to the birth of his daughter in January 2013. Upon graduating, Dr. Seier was presented with the prestigious award for Clinical Excellence for his dedication to quality naturopathic medical care. His initial path in life had him working on an ambulance, where he served as an EMT-A in the community of Maskwacis (previously known as Hobbema), City of Edmonton and surrounding areas for a period of 5 years. During this time, he was able to see medical practice from multiple perspectives - from looking in fridges for medication and food stuffs, to working alongside rural medical doctors as they practiced their full scope of medicine. Dr. Seier completed his undergraduate degree in commerce with a major in finance at the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction.

Dr. Seier is an avid reader and researcher in his medical practice and strives to understand how scientific research can be used to explain the laws of the natural world. By organizing his medical knowledge in a diverse manner, the lens which medical problems are evaluated is re-focused so that a broader scope of illness is taken into account for healing. The physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and universal body of life is forever interconnected and assessing patterns and relationships is the way Dr. Seier practices naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Seier is also employed by the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine as core educational faculty.
